  • 6-12m or according to customer’s requirement or in coil
FEATURES

  • Low carbon value: resulting in good ductility, strength and welding ability
  • Superior bonding strength
  • 100% welding capability
  • High tensile strength: perfect for bending and re-bending
  • Satisfactorily malleable, minimum weight and maximum strength, and suitable for both compression and tension reinforcement
BEST PRACTICES

  • All job site employees should be trained to recognize when rebar becomes a hazard.
  • Routinely pick up scrap rebar to prevent trip hazards.
  • When caps are unavailable, bend rebar over or cap with a 2×4 “L” to protect employees from injury.
  • When rebar is being hoisted “stay clear”. Rebar can easily slip out of mats and cages.
  • Cover exposed rebar with the correct protective cap.
  • Cap all rebar that someone could fall on.
APPLICATIONS

Ideal for applications including;

  • Primary reinforcement: Used to provide resistance to support design loads.
  • Secondary reinforcement: Used for durability and aesthetic purposes by providing localized resistance to limit cracking and temperature-induced stresses.
  • Provide resistance to concentrated loads, spreading it through a wider area.
  • Assist other steel bars in accommodating their loads by holding them in the correct position.
  • External steel tie bars to constrain and reinforce masonry structures.
